This is our last installment of the BTS: Bands of Sadie Series and who better to finish it off than a band with very close ties to the Writer/Director, Nicole Agostino. They are the “Older” crowd that allegedly tried to corrupt Nicole with the live music/band scene. Besides their stories of teenage escapades with the creator of Sadie, they have a great sound, and were awesome to work with.

Alyssa said it best when she called them, “a beautiful collision.” There is no better way to describe the collaboration of the 6 talented musicians creating the band. They smashed into the set of Sadie – The Web Series with great energy, and will be the featured band in our 9th episode. Yes Sadie – The Web Series is still in post production. We have edited all the episodes, and now we go back, rinse and repeat . . . and then . . .

Song: “Give it a Break”
Singer-songwriter Ginger Coyle’s new song “Moon and Back” asks us to leave everything behind, to move on, grow-up and change with only love to guide us. Ginger Coyle’s concept for her music video was simple enough, make everything disappear.
On a cold December night, a motley crew of about 20 people gathered at Sigma Sound Studios to shoot a music video for Ginger Coyle’s song “Moon and Back”. It was Rascal Films’ first pre-produced music video. We had done concerts and event videos before, but nothing of this scale. Everything was in our hands, from story boarding to set construction, crewing, clean-up, shooting and editing.
All of the technical crew had worked with us before and had never heard Ginger sing. It was great to witness her soulful melodies, her organic piano, her stunning voice make people stop and listen. Six months later the video debut at Ginger’s record release party. This video was a true labor of love, and we cannot thank our crew enough for working non-stop on that cold December day (and night).
We hope you enjoy the video as much as we enjoyed making it. And if you like what you see, contact us and we can discuss your next music video project.
A big “thank you” to Rich Davis, Jake McEvoy, Andrew Menan, Jim Wood, Blake Adam and Corey Yactus for their help in making this video a possibility.

There’s nothing like good old fashioned Rock and Roll. That’s why we start off Episode 1 of SADIE with En Fuego! En Fuego’s music is infectious, feel good, put on your dancin’ shoes rock and roll. En Fuego’s lead singer and guitarist, Joe Reno, also plays Sadie’s love interest, “Joe.” Call it a happy coincidence. Check out this interview with Alyssa (Sadie) and En Fuego, AND get a sneak peek at some footage from the very first episode of SADIE…Just try not to dance yourself right out of your seat!

Song: I Need Some Help
The third day of shooting Sadie: The Web-series, was very stressful and complicated. Thanks to all the great production assistants, G&E folks, the one and only gaffer/key grip, the set artists, Joe the Chef, and everyone in the production team, we came out of it alive. We also got another great day of bands. Here is Alyssa talking to the band Dagny about how they came together.
